So we’ve found a problem with your drains and you need drain repairs Dublin. Now we need to fix it. You’re worried about disruption and mess caused by digging. Don’t be, because we have other answers.
Drain-It provides some of the best and most efficient ‘no dig’ drain repairs Dublin, ensuring that your problem is fixed with minimum disruption to your site. If your site is a commercial or industrial operation, that ensures minimum downtime too.
Your ‘no dig’ drain repair will be one of two options, depending on the scale and size of the problem. We will carry out either a no-dig patch repair, or a more thorough drain relining solution.
Most problems we find are relatively small and can be fixed by applying an inline patch repair. After the trouble spot has been identified via a CCTV drain survey, we can again use the camera to assist us in applying a patch to it.
The patch consists of a glass fibre mat, specially impregnated with advanced epoxy resins. It is securely applied to the inside of the pipe, leaving a smooth and free-flowing repair solution, which comes with a five-year guarantee. That means that if any further trouble develops during that time as a result of the patch not doing its job, we’ll come and replace it for free.
A no-dig patch repair can normally be applied in just a few minutes, with the adhesives and resins used normally being dry enough to allow resumed use of the pipe within one to two hours (weather dependant). This is how we keep our promise to you of minimum disruption and minimum downtime.
Where a patch or even a series of patches won’t be enough to solve the problem, then drain re-lining may the solution. Using the latest technology, we are able to completely re-line long lengths of defective drains, again saving both time and money on costly and disruptive excavation.
We first clean your existing pipes using a high-pressure jetting unit, to ensure there are no remaining blockages to disrupt the laying of new lining. We also take whatever other action is necessary to prepare your pipes for lining: for example, if roots have penetrated your piping, we use a remote root cutting tool to remove the offending clump and extract it from your drainage system.
When ready, the liner is impregnated with a three-part resin hardener and accelerator before being pulled into the drain and inflated to meet the inner walls of the pipe. Finally, it is cured using a hot water boiler, leaving a perfectly smooth finish.
Occasionally, no-dig drain repairs may not be feasible – for example, if pipework has completely collapsed due to surface damage, pressure from roots, or other reasons. In such cases, excavation and replacement is the only option left. Even then, we offer expert and tidy drain repair solutions.
We have the best drain repairs Dublin team to ensure disruption on your site is kept to a minimum, that all work is carried out efficiently, and that your site is tidied up and made good after pipe replacement has been completed.
